ONE MEAL AT A TIME
At Walker Family Hair Sheep, we understand the value of sharing a delicious meal with your family, so we strive to produce the highest quality-lamb for you to enjoy with your family. Our farm, ran by Aaron & Danielle Walker along with their two nieces, Hannah & Haylie, started with family as its focus and that remains true to this day.
Our farm is located in the heart of rural Southern Indiana. Our community is deeply rooted in the agriculture industry and has a passion to produce high-quality food to feed our nation’s families.
One hundred Katahdin ewes comprise our flock and produce our lamb. Our ewes and lambs are treated with the utmost care and are evaluated regularly by our experienced veterinarian. We also have four Great Pyrenees, Hunter, Harper, Hank, and Hasley, who work day and night to protect our flock.
At WFHS we are committed to taking the best care of our flock and their environment. We strive to conserve and protect the natural resources that make up our farm. We are proud to practice rotational grazing, soil testing, invasive species control, and other conservation practices.
Our experience and love for the sheep industry have led us to sell our lamb to feed not only our family, but yours as well. We hope that you choose to feed your family with our product that we have worked tirelessly to produce.
